The Panasonic Viera X1 Series TC P50X1 plasma HDTV offers good quality images at a reasonable and affordable price. It has been seen that high definition televisions that have deep blacks are often very expensive. However, this is not the case with the Panasonic Viera X1 Series TC P50X1 plasma HDTV. This plasma hi-def television offers deep blacks where the details are visible in the shadows.

The earlier models of the television used to suffer from on-screen lines, which were quite faint. However, Panasonic has managed to rectify this problem and all the Panasonic Viera X1 Series TC P50X1 plasma HDTVs sold after June 2009 do not have this manufacture error.

The television has a stylish looking black plastic cover with a thin strip of silver on the lower edge. The speakers are also built-in and not visible as they are mounted towards the bottom part of the television. The speakers face downwards. In addition, the ports and controls of the television are hidden as they are located on the side.

The Panasonic Viera X1 Series TC P50X1 plasma HDTV comes with a stand that does not swivel. The television weighs around 79.4 pounds with the stand, and approximately 75 pounds without the stand.

The remote has all the buttons that you would need to operate the television, including the Viera Link, SD card slot and Viera Tools. The buttons are all shaped and colored differently making it easy to identify them. This comes handy as the buttons are not illuminated.

The Panasonic Viera X1 Series TC P50X1 plasma HDTV has 720p resolution. Looking at the clarity of the picture, you will definitely not miss the 1080p resolution. The 50-inch screen shows vibrant colors, deep blacks and bright whites to easily distinguish the minutest of details.
