The Apple iPod Touch 8 GB 3rd generation has many features, and is more than a resource to playback songs and tracks. Many people are attracted to the Touch because it offers email facility and mobile web browsing. While others like it because it is portable device for listening to music and playing back videos.

The Apple iPod Touch 8 GB 3rd generation costs around $199, and one thing can be said that the hardware design of the device has not changed much from the previous generation. The iPod Touch is touch screen media playing device with a display screen of 3.5 inches. The screen is covered with glass and has a resolution of 480X320 pixels. The media player is 4.3 inches tall, 2.4 inches wide and 0.33 inches thick. The front end of the iPod is covered with glass. The Apple iPod Touch 8 GB 3rd generation is has video playback facility, Safari web browser, email reader, photo viewer, podcast support and many other smaller features like calendar, maps, clock, voice memo, contacts and calculator.
