The viewfinder is perfect for shooting in bright light, and you can even save the batteries by keeping the LCD display switched off.
The Canon PowerShot A1100IS digital camera has five scene setting selections to choose from, and this includes portrait, landscape and indoor. You can also use other scene setting like aquarium, sunset and long shutter which are not used that frequently. But one thing is for sure that the camera offers easy and simple navigation.
Besides all the above options, the Canon PowerShot A1100IS digital camera also allows you to control the white balance, autofocus, color effects, lights metering. However, the camera is essentially a point and shoot camera.
The camera has good image quality and takes around 2.1 seconds from one shot to the next.
