The features of RIM Blackberry Curve 8900 are sleek, solid design with brilliant display. This smart phone has new productivity tools such as Wi-Fi features, Bluetooth, and GPS, HTML Web browser, and a 3.2-megapixel camera.
However, the Blackberry Curve 8900 is lacking in 3G support and also some times it is sluggish. Actually it is one of the most solid additions to the smart phone line up and it is one of the Company’s top offerings. In addition, it replaces Curve 8300 series.
It is quite a disappointment that the smart phone lacks 3G support, because this could have given it an edge over its competitors. Nonetheless, the RIM Blackberry Curve 8900 brings better design with improved features, latest updates, it is fast in performance and is one of the best mobiles in the offering.
The Blackberry Curve 8900 is 4.2 inches long, 2.3 inches wide and 0.5 inches thick. It weighs 3.8 ounces and also it is easy to carry in your pant pocket. Both the phone and messaging devices are very comfortable to use. But this does not contain any FM radio and there is nothing enviable about the camera either.
Though the phone is small, keys are not that big and roomy, still it is not difficult to write e-mails. The keyboard is quite back lit and the number keys are highlighted with red in place of the usual white. It has built in GPS and can use both satellites and cellular triangulation to find positions. One can have preloaded driving directions with Blackberry maps and tracking details along with voice-guided instructions using the GPS Navigator.
