The Sony Vaio VGN FW455J is a brand new laptop model from Sony. As the name suggests, it belongs to the ever popular Vaio series. The laptop is available in a very smart titanium grey color. The Windows Vista Home Premium edition is already installed in the laptop. The laptop is powered by the T6500 Intel core 2 duo processor.

The screen size is very big at 16.4 inches. Memory is also very good at 4 GB RAM and you have a lot of hard disk space to store your files as well. The optical combo BD drive can read and play all types of formats. The processor is 64 bit and it is accustomed to run all 64 bit applications.
 
The laptop is also accustomed with wide screen support. The screen has an anti reflective film which is really a boon for stress free eyes. The brightness and the contrast factors are perfectly balanced, thereby allowing you to see crystal clear images and pictures. The hard disk drive can spin at a high speed of 7200 RPM. RAM is DDR2 with a capacity of 4 GB. The BD combo optical drive can play all types of formats.  

The laptop is self sufficient in terms of communications and networking. There are the usual WLAN and Wifi facilities. The integrated sound speaker is capable of producing decent and clear sound. The touchpad is very smooth and the keyboard is standard QWERTY. There is also an in built webcam that you can use for video conferencing. The lithium battery is powerful and you can operate your laptop for at least 4 hours before the fully charged battery dies down. Overall the laptop is slim and light and hence there is no problem in carrying it around.
