Patricia Waddell is well known for romantic adventure writer and when the romantic adventure is added with some thrill, it is invariably too good to resist. In True Blood, the thrill is accompanied by journeys through space, political relationships along with some murders.
True Blood is a book about Danna Macfayden who has an unusual skill -- that of reading emotions of people through objects owned by them. Her skills are put to test when there is an explosion on one spaceship causing the death of 46 people. Her motive is to investigate whether it was really an accident or a murder. Incidentally, she is not alone on this investigation and is joined by Cullon Gabriel. This is obviously the part where the romance begins. However, the story moves through a series of revelations and conspiracies.
Though this story does contain romance, this book is not for hard core romantics. However, this book should not be missed by those who love thrillers. But there are some places in this book where the story may lack grip and though the story does move fast, it is not gripping enough where the reader cannot put it down or wants to read it again and again. However, one can safely expect a well written and exciting story in this book. When one reads the last chapter of the book, one can realise that there is another book that may come in the same series and hence, one can anticipate more suspense, thrill and romance in the series. It is definitely worth reading the book at least once.More Articles :
